This institutional film documents the progress of works on the A2 EP19 Melide - Gentilino motorway link.
After the completion of the main section in 2021, the construction site has focused on the north and southbound ramps, involving not only resurfacing but also major interventions on overpasses, semi-bridges, viaducts and underpasses.
The project also includes a full upgrade of electronic infrastructure and services, as well as the installation of new noise barriers to reduce traffic impact on local communities.
Completion of the road axis is planned by the end of 2025, with the final closure of the construction site scheduled for 2026.
